Its Time To Share The Love || We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

We were liars

A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.

We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from National Book Award finalist and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.

Read it.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

This book….It left me in tears. This was probably one of the most heartbreaking books I’ve read so far this year. *gives trophy to the author for making me cry like a big baby*

This book utterly destroyed me. It still makes me sad just to think about it…yet it makes me happy and awed by it and….I don’t know what my feels are doing right now… It’s like I’m having a feels overload. A feels overload that mostly consists of crying…but still a feels overload.

Feels

I have heard many wonderful things about WE WERE LIARS and let me tell you I was NOT disappointed. This exceeded all expectation and the writing style was amazing and absolutely stunning. When I first heard of the book I didn’t think it was going to be good at all but then I kept hearing how amazing and beautiful it was and just…Wow! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.

The charaters….Ohhhhhh the characters! I loved them all to itty bitty pieces. Each character flawed, each character unique, each their own kind of crazy and absolutely, imperfectly, perfect!

Is it possible to give a book a 10 star rating? Yes? No? I just can’t right now. My feels.
