Dancing Through The Pain

Now you might think the title is metaphorical but no. I mean literally…but also get ready for some real stuff and life lessons! Wooh!

le me Swing Dancing 🙂 ( photo cred: Swing Bridge Dance Club )

Something you all know about me at this point: I’m a huge lover of Swing Dance.  (Being deprived of it since I’ve moved is so hard)

Something you may or may not know about me is this: I have chronic pain in my legs (due to uneven arches in my feet.) This chronic pain affects me daily. Some days are worse than others but usually after a full day of running around doing errands and working I am out for the count and it hurts to walk or move.

Put chronic pain and Swing together and you get an interesting way of making said chronic pain worse. Yet I do it and keep doing it anyways.

Because I love it too much to stop. Now that might sound like a silly excuse but its the truth.

Why Swing Dance?

Swing Dance is something I did weekly before moving (I still dance around my apartment lots too. Not the same but hey I’m still groovin’ )  Not only was it fun but it really improved my mood but, for the first time in a long time, I REALLY looked forward to a new week ahead of me cause I always kicked off the week with dance.

Fun fact: Dance or Movement Therapy has been used for many centuries to improve the mental and physical well- being of a person. Since dancing is an art, it increases self-expression and helps people connect with themselves and others. Dancing is a form of art that offers a way to explore psychological roots to overcome certain illnesses such as depression. Research have shown that dancing provide benefits that can help minimize depression’s effects.

As well as it being fun there are actually a lot of health benefits of it. Swing Dancing is a fun way to work out without it really feeling like a workout in the moment. Dancing also makes you happier. Not just in the moment but also in the long run.

I’ve taken many kinds of dance over the last 4-5 years and it really does make you happier! and if I’m having a bad day I put on one of my favorite songs at top volume and just sing and dance away like no one is watching. (usually no one is haha)

Something else that Swing Dance has done for me personally is make me a little more social and confident. – I’m an introverted little human who much prefers sitting in a corner and waiting till someone approaches me and starts talking to me as opposed to my approaching them… but doing Swing Dance totally turned that around for me?

Simple- Swing Dance is a very fun, outgoing, and social type of dance where, whether you are a lead or a follow, guy or girl, if you wanna dance you get your butt off that chair and go up to someone and ask them to dance.

For the first while when I first started Swing Dancing I was like ‘nuh- uh no way. Nope. I’m gonna sit here and wait for someone to ask me to dance.‘ but eventually I started going up to people and asking them to dance!

Now this might sound like a funny thing to discuss but here is the thing. If you are a introverted little human (as mentioned before) you would know that this is a scary thing! But in terms of Swing Dancing I now have NO problem (or almost no problem) walking up to someone and asking them to dance.

Where did the chronic pain come from? What can you do to relieve your pain?

As I stated above, my chronic pain affects my every day life as it is a reoccurring pain in my legs. It caused by uneven arches in my feet and when I went to go get it figured out I found out my one leg is carrying about 70% (cant remember exactly) of my body weight when I stand as opposed to having it distributed evenly. (So you can see there the pain comes from)

Essentially my pain relief comes with doing some stretches for my legs and feet as well as just not walking around and putting my feet up when I can. Other than that there isn’t much to be done.

Why do you dance if it hurts?

I keep doing dance because its honestly something I love and am passionate about. Swing Dance has helped me become more confident in myself and has also made me happier – as well as that I’ve gotten to know some amazing people who I now can call my friends.

“Whats your point in telling me this, Adriana?” – well. Let me tie this all together here.

Basically my point is no matter what, do what you want to do or have dreamed of doing.

Don’t let anything hold you back whether it be mental or physical.

If there is something you truly love and are passionate about you will find a way to do it. For me that love and passion is swing dance.

For you it might be dance as well.

Or music.

Or painting.

No matter what it is, you can do it. If you just have faith in yourself and find the determination to reach for your dreams.

Achieve your goals.

If you set your mind to it you can do anything no matter what ‘limitations’ people tell you you have.

A to Z Challenge || Letter N: NaNoWriMo

Hello Readers!

NSo, I hope I haven’t confused you here by my word for today’s challenge or anything! Because yes, I have done a post on CampNaNoWriMo/NaNoWriMo already but for today’s post, I thought I would share the synopsis/covers for my previous NaNoWriMo Novels (including Camp Events.) and tell you where I’m at with each draft and how I did that NaNo Month.

So here goes!

*Warning* Some of these synopsis are from a couple years ago and kinda terrible and I’m too lazy to bother to fix them this very moment.

#1 Pebbles and Pirouettes

Dance Woodsley is a girl carrying her mother’s dreams of being a ballet star, dreams which are not her own. One day she is thrown into a world that is not her own, and told she is their saviour from a power-hungry psycopath, as the legends of that world foretold. But is it real, or is it all a dream?

Ghost is well-loved and widely feared. His past fills him with pain, regret and heart-wrenching guilt. When forced into hiding, he comes across Dance, a girl who is too curious for her own good and won’t keep her nose out of his business.
Can Dance count on Ghost and her other new friends to help her escape this strange world and get back to her own? And when Dance knows too much, will Ghost protect her and try to save her, or tell her the truth and put her life at risk?
Or there is another option…

About Pebbles and Pirouettes:

Well, If you were around my blog in November of 2013, then this novel might sound familiar…For that I am sorry as I know probably most of that stuff (Which is still on here from then) was crap and I’m sorry you had to read it. as for where I’m at with it it is still an unfinished draft (at about 70k words) and eventually, I would like to see if I can tackle the project again for a rewrite and really fix it up. So, for the moment it is shelved but I do miss my MC’s Ghost and Dance so I think I will get back to it one day….Unless my patience levels are low when it comes to fixing it therefore it will remain the way it is.

#2  Thirteen Gigabytes

*This was my makeshift cover with my main POV characters*

*This was my makeshift cover with my main POV characters*

After an undercover operation put in place to unmask the perpetrators behind years of missing students in a school for supernaturally gifted teens fails, the police department turn to their very last resort: Korea, a rookie on the police force and a super herself.
Korea is enrolled as a student alongside so many others but her presence in the halls only seems to escalate the level of disappearances to the point where students are vanishing behind locked doors in the dead of the night.
As Korea roams closer to the truth only two options remain – find the missing students and eliminate the threat… or risk the lives of thousands.

About Thirteen Gigabytes:

So, Thirteen Gigs turned from Sci-Fi to a futuristic/Sci-Fi Murder Mystery type thing with a bunch of superheroes and I really enjoyed writing it last summer! Though I really struggled with the multiple POV’s (Though this month with MAHWS is so much easier so I must have learned something!) I still loved it and all the characters. I don’t remember what the final draft was done at but I want to guess 70k words. Anyways. I definitely plan to come back to this one. It’s all just a matter of when.

#3 Aimlessly Wandering

Aimlessly Wandering

The last ten years of Claire’s life have been lonely and love was not top priority. After her parents murder, and twenty foster homes, Claire finally has to decide what to do with her life and who to trust.

About Aimlessly Wandering:

The first draft is not quite finished yet (as you can see from the progress bar on the right side of my blog sidebar) but I’m getting there. The end is in sight. Despite it being in it’s first draft, I’ve been uploading chapters to Wattpad in which I will go through and edit later. (Once CampNaNo is done this month, I will upload more)

So, these have been my projects over the last 3 years or so that I have done NaNo and I LOVE THEM ALL. *hesitates and glares at Pebbles and Pirouettes* Okay…Maybe not ALL at this very moment but…I’ll get over it.

Until Next Time!

Fun News! and A Caution…

Hello Readers!

It appears I have done it again! I forgot a post this friday. >.< I feel quite bad for that. But being sick and busy does take its toll, doesn’t it? So, even though I missed this Friday I do have some fun stuff to tell you!

1. In case you missed it before, during December I will be uploading my Sci-Fi novel on Wattpad for you lovely readers to enjoy. (You can follow me HERE. and also keep an eyes out for more info on that to be coming soon.)

2. My family and I have started a youtube channel (hence my busyness because we have been busy recording videos!) You can check that out HERE. It’s going to be great and I will be king some videos on there hopefully very soon 🙂 We only have one video up so far (I’m the producer so I am working hard on getting more done) but I make an amazing appearance so…for that reason you should check it out.

3. I have some writing blogs coming up! *EXCITEMENT!* I am wanting to take up Vlogging, so why not do writing vlogs? It’ll be great. Once I get the first one done I will be sure to let you know!

So, now that that is done and I’ve said what I need to say, on to today’s post! (Which I have titled ‘Caution’)

Writing can be fun and a great pass time but as I was writing the other day, writing can be emotionally exhausting and sometimes even stressful or frustrating. I haven’t noticed any real posts on this so I thought I would cover it today, but I want to caution you my readers.

Be careful what you write! Be extremely careful and write with care.

You’re probably wondering why I am telling you to be careful and you have a right to wonder but let me explain a little more.

As you all know, writing is very emotion driven and needs to be in order for readers to connect with the character and understand how they feel about certain situations or how they see the world. Effective writing will portray an emotion or feeling to you and you will be able to feel it. Thats why and how we can cry while reading, laugh while reading, get angry at a character while reading and much more!

And sometimes, writing that emotion or feeling can be hard or stressful. So I caution you, my readers. Be careful when you write.

I write books that deal with topics that people are facing every day in their every day lives. My completed novel ‘Holding on To Grace’ deals with the topics of teen pregnancy, rape and depression.

My most recent WIP (and NaNoWriMo Novel) ‘Aimlessly Wandering’ deals with the trauma and effects losing a loved one or family can have on a person and also addresses the topic of fostering, bullying and depression/suicide

As you can tell just by what they address, these are pretty hard topics which, in order to make believable requires many different emotions and scenarios and writing these things can be hard for many reasons. (and I do write other stories that don’t deal with hard topics like this but I am just giving examples using these few)

1. I am a very emotional person so trying to get these emotions right can be hard at points but yet it can get to me very very easily.

2. As a teen who suffers from depression on occasion, I often times use some or most of those things I have felt when going through that. Doing so can make things a lot harder or even trigger my depression at points. The reason behind it is because I am using my own personal experience, I can feel that again when I try to describe it.

This is why I want to caution you. Writing can be emotionally draining and exhausting and sometimes even triggering to things you are feeling or have felt before.

A friend and I both have the same issues when it comes to our writing and I know she also would caution you while writing certain topics but, while talking to a friend of mine we also came up with some effective ways you can avoid your novels triggering things in you you would much rather not experience to the fullest again. (Because you will always feel some sort of emotion while writing depending on the scene, but sometimes those emotions can trigger things that can last for a long while or a lot longer than just for that scene you are writing.)

So, along with this caution. I also want to share with you a couple ways my friend and I avoid this relapse/trigger when things get a little crazy/hard in our novels.

1. Have a short story or novel with a happier theme or topic.

Yeah, I get it. Life isn’t all happy and perfect and most of the times not fair. (Life can be a jerk sometimes. Just admit it, guys) but having something to work on on the side that has a happier or lighter theme works wonders. The project I am currently working on is the Novella Sequel to ‘Holding on To Grace’ that is called ‘Clinging to Lies.’ I can’t say too much about this novel yet but things are definitely a lot easier simply because my main character lives a fairly normal life with no real hardships except for the fear of not being able to pass math in high school. So really, it is a lots easier to write and kinda fun and a great help when I need a break from my novel just for a couple minutes before going back to it. It really helps a lot.

2. Have a blank word document (or notebook) open and ready for you to grab.

Sometimes as you write a scene, you feel those emotions or feelings bottling up inside of you and , even though you are trying to you can’t really shake it off…even if you’ve move on to a happier scene. Something I have tried, and works out rather well is opening a blank document and just writing out what you are feeling that is bottled inside of you. Rant, type in all capitals, drop sentence structure and grammar and just get it out. I have a word document for that I call ‘Puzzle’ which is just a mix of pieces and how I am feeling and it works beautifully 🙂 or even just journalling is helpful. take your pick.

3. Get active!

Just take a break. Wether you dance around your bedroom to some Meghan Trainor *cough*guilty*cough* (or your all time fav song) or go for a walk or run. Or even work out. It really helps. It is a proven fact that moving and being active can really improve ones mood. So just put aside that writing, don’t think about it and get active! It is effective and works wonderfully. (and hey, you’re working out too. So it’s a win win scenario) Then once you are ready, come right back to it and get going again 🙂

So, thats my post for today, I once again want to caution you but I am also curious. Is there a way you try to avoid those hard feelings or emotions when they get at you? I would love to hear your suggestions below and how they work for you, cause not only are you sharing with me but also with other writers. (because some things work differently for different people)

Until Next Time,

Music Mania #1- Family Force 5: Time Stands Still

Hello Readers!

Welcome to Music Mania!

So I couldn’t wait until next friday to officially start this one so I decided to start today 😛

Today, I am going to (if you haven’t already heard it) introduce you to Family Force 5’s new album called ‘Time Stands Still

I am a fairly new fan of Family Force 5. I heard about them from my Chiropractor early this year (Yeah I said my Chiropractor…be jealous y’all he’s amazing.) and since then, I’ve been a huge fan. (Seeing them preform at YC 2014 was a blast!) I absolutely love their music, so obviously when I got some ITunes money, I went and bought this entire album. It is absolutely fantastic. Their sound has changed a little from their previous albums but the music is still great and still sooooo them! I love it to a bunch of itty bitty little pieces!!! The music just leaves you bobbin’ your head along to the music and/or dancing around like a complete maniac XD It’s great!

5 star rating for this album! That’s for sure.

And now, my favourite part…Time to share my favourite songs!

Jet Pack Kicks:

BZRK (feat. KB) :

Funky Little Update And Other Randomosity

Hello Fellow Bloggers!

Today I am just kinda gonna do a little update on my writing and how thats coming. (I hope thats okay with y’all) and obviously a little bit of randomosity…Why not, right?

So first. Time for my Funky Little Update. Okay…well its not all that funky….but I just like that word.

So, as of right this second I’ve run into this whole writing issue. Okay, well not really an issue. Okay, not an issue at all….I just also like to use that word too…I like words (can you blame me?I’m a writer and reader so not much of a surprise, right?)

Right now, for my status on writing. My ‘To Write’ pile is shrinking and my ‘To Edit’ pile is GROWING.

I’m kinda at that point right now where I don’t have much inspiration to edit. (Bad me. I know.) BUT! One the other hand I am getting TONS of inspiration to write.

I’m just powering through novel after novel after novel….Meanwhile my ‘To Edit’ pile is getting much larger (and my ‘New Ideas’ pile…).

This is what they look like:

To Write:

-‘Continere’ (I plan to do this for NaNoWriMo 2014!)

-‘Book One (of 4) of A Secret Project’….it’s a 3-18-99 (If you’ve heard Adventures In Odyssey you would know what that means.)

and ‘To Jaime With Love’ ( Or I like to refer to it as TJWL. SO if you see that in any of my posts you know what I’m talking about.)

To Edit:

-Once Upon A Crime (A Cinderella, Short Story Retelling)

-Pebbles and Pirouettes. <— This beautiful thing needs A LOT of work but sometimes that happens. (GASP! I just realized I never did that character interview for Ghost….I should probably get that done…)

I want to make it clear that, Yes, my ‘To Edit’ pile is smaller, but that is only for a couple more months.

Come June I am 99.9% sure that I will have at least 2 (if not 3) novels in my ‘To Write’ pile will be in my ‘To Edit’ pile.

The lucky winners? TJWL and ‘Book One of A Secret Project’! Speechless being the possible 3rd book.

I plan to start working on editing of ‘Unbreakable’ in these next couple days because I would LIKE to have this novel edited and completely ready by next March.

Because this girl *points to self* is saving up some money to go to the Florida Christian Writers Conference and when there, if my novel is completely ready, I can pitch my novel to some agents.

Scary, scary thought…Especially since that would be my first ever writers conference too… Though if I want to have editing for that done and have my book all ready to go I KIIIIIIINDA need to get started on editing and do a really good job etc etc….and I need to start that N.O.W.

Wanna know what I discovered is a really fun thing to do?

Create Playlists for my novels!  They are SO much fun and so easy to make!

I have one for my novels ‘To Jaime With Love, Speechless, Continere, Overdue, Unbreakable and Pebbles and Pirouettes’

Here is an example:

I’m still working on this playlist and I honestly have HUNDREDS of songs for each book but only the ones that fit the theme/character/specific scene most make it to the final cut. These are SUPEr fun to make 🙂

So that, is my Funky Little Update…and Randomosity.

Hope you enjoyed it! Character interview (hopefully) coming soon!

Until Next Time,

Adriana Gabrielle

Character Interview-Dance

Hello My Fellow Readers!

So, I know I missed a Top Ten Tuesday post (and a few others I had planned…Including this one) but I have a very good reason. I was sick and fainted a couple times and yeah it was a very painful experience. (Though now I know how to accurately describe fainting in my novels)

Anyways, so next Tuesday I will do two Top Ten Tuesday posts at once but for now it’s time to interview Dance. YAY! Though she wasn’t all that excited when I kinda surprised her and told her she is doing this interview so let’s see if we can get her in here.d3fb8101ad2c27fe0d06893a0b2bb71b

Hey Dance? You coming?

Umm just a minute… *disappears then comes back a few minutes later, Dance in tow*

So, Dance, are you ready to do this interview?

*Dance sits down on the chair* I guess.

Alright. So, let’s get started. The first question is:

How do you feel about your height?

My height? I don’t mind it at all, being short is awesome. I’m able to sneak around easier without people noticing…Did I just say that out loud? Oopsie… Anyways, I like my height.

Tell us about your NYC friends.

My NYC friends? Well I don’t have many friends. Only a few, but as long as they are good friends who cares how many friends you have I mea-

*Interupts* Dance, answer the question.

Right. Sorry. *grin* They’re awesome totally cool people. Throw the best parties.

Uh-huh. I see…*mutters* I personally don’t think you make the best choices when it comes to friends.

You have your friends and I have mine.

Okay! Moving on….So, how do you feel about carrying your mother’s dreams? What are your dreams?

Hate it.

Don’t get me wrong, I love ballet but I don’t have the same dreams as my mother. Sad part is, I don’t know what my dreams are. I’ve been to busy with my mothers dreams to get a chance to figure out my own.

Okay…Kinda going bad to the whole friends thing…What do you think of Ghost?

Why are we even talking about him?

First of all, he’s not my friend and second he’s so boring. All dark and mysterious with that cloak he wears and sneaking around. He’s strange.

Dance’s author here. She quite enjoys Ghost’s company. Dance actually thinks Ghost is pretty cool.

I do not!

*eye roll* So, Dance… Have you, before the beginning of this story, needed to use the pepper spray?

Of course! I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve used it. I’ve got some pretty good skills with a can of pepper spray. Lots of experience with that thing.

*coughliarcough* Were you born with your abilities?

I heard that…and I don’t know, Maybe? Never knew about them until I showed up in Demitrix.

I see…What is your opinion of the fantasy world, Demitrix?

That place is soooo cool! I love it. nuf’ said.

*ahem* All right then. Last question. How well do you follow Adriana’s instructions?

What kind of a question is that? I’m an angel! Don’t you see my halo floating above my head?

Nope. I don’t see a halo at all. *sigh* though I will admit you do have your moments where you do actually listen to me.

See, I’m not all that evil.

Yeah. Okay….So that’s it for now! Thanks for cooperating, Dance, and answering these questions.

I’m gone. Cya *leaves*

Well, okay then. I want to thank you all SO much for asking Dance your questions so, I guess I will see you next time my fellow bloggers!

Camp NaNoWriMo April 2014

Hello again, my lovely readers!

So. As you can tell from the title of the post and banner floating around at the top of the post… Next month I am participation in Camp NaNoWriMo!

This is my first year doing CAMP NaNo but last November I did the actual thing.

For those of you who don’t know what NaNoWriMo is. It’s where authors of all ages and experience levels come together and write a whole novel (50k words) in an entire month! It’s pretty crazy, but an AWESOME experience. During the summer though they have something called Camp NaNoWriMo which is the same thing but you can choose your maximum word count. So, if you only want to write 10k words in the month, rather than 50k. you can.

This year though the rules of CAMP NaNo have been switched around and played with a bit.(it’s nothing to major. Just some updates they’ve made but this also gives you an idea how the system works a bit) I was going to explain, but why explain when they have the newsletter? SO here. I’m gonna cheat and copy and past from the website….

Welcome to the fourth year of Camp NaNoWriMo!

We first imagined Camp simply as an off-season alternative to National Novel Writing Month, but it’s evolved into much more than that: writers choose their own projects—from novel sequels to scripts to pop-up books—and find cabin communities (and often new friends) to support them.

We call it a retreat because you can write anything here, plus see what you’re capable of when you have the time and space to create.

Last year, we introduced flexible word-count goals (10,000 to 999,999) and the ability to add your own project genre. Our 2014 features are designed to make Camp even more open-ended:

Remodeled, ultra-hyphy cabins. Share your triumphs with more fellow writers: cabins now accommodate 12 campers. Worried that’ll be too much conversation to keep track of? We’ve also added @replies to the cabin message board. Set your preferences beforeMarch 25 to claim your bunk.

Full project-defining power. Now, you can select your genre and category. Working on a collection of swashbuckling tales? “Adventure Short Stories” will be shown on your profile. Writing presidential haikus? You can proudly display your choice of “Historical Poetry.”

One-click access to the big world of Camp. Hanging with cabin mates is great, but there are about 20,000 other campers to meet, too. Find quick links to our blogFacebook, and Twitter in your cabin and on the homepage.

So, this, my readers is what I will be participating. Seriously. Do you want the bragging rights to be able to say: “Yeah, I did that. I wrote 50,ooo words in a month” ? I know I do. (Plus it’s fun to see peoples reactions when you say you wrote FIFTY-THOUSAND words in THIRTY days!)

This year I am working on a new novel (in which I cannot announce yet.) all I can tell you is what I put down on the Camp NaNoWriMo website. The novel is called: ‘Trechelium’ and it is a YA Medieval Fantasy Novel.

If you are interested in Camp NaNoWriMo you can sign up on their website (its free!) at: http://www.campnanowrimo.org

Well, time to close off this post for now but I want to say again that Camp NaNo is the best experience in the world, believe me on this one. 🙂

Oh! one more thing! Some of you might have seen the post where you could ask my NaNoWriMo novel character by the name of ‘Dance’ some questions and I will interview her but I need a few more questions so I can do an interview post. So if you could check it out and maybe as a question or two (…or ten XD ) I would really appreciate it then I will get the interview done ASAP. You can find the post here.

Until next time!

Ask Dance Part 1

Hello Everyone!

So today I’m trying out a new kind do post that I see a bunch of my writer friends are doing and it looks like TONS of fun!

This is basically a character interview but instead of me asking my character questions you will be asking the questions! 🙂

So, I will now introduce you to my character and tell you a bit about her then you can go ahead and ask ANY question you can come up with (it can be more than one) and my character will answer them 🙂

So let’s get started!

d3fb8101ad2c27fe0d06893a0b2bb71bAs you can all see, this is a photo of my character, Dance. (Okay, it’s actually singer, Sarah Blackwood but my point is this looks exactly like my main character.)

Dance is the FMC (Female Main Character) of my fantasy novel called: “Pebbles and Pirouettes”
Most of you probably don’t know what my story is about so I’m going to share the synopsis with you all before I tell you more about Dance.

Synopsis: Dance Woodsley is a girl carrying her mother’s dreams of being a ballet star, dreams which are not her own. One day she is thrown into a world that is not her own, and told she is their savior from a power-hungry psycopath, as the legends of that world foretold.

So now you know about my novel! Yay! And also we know a TINY little bit about my MMC Ghost. Literally a TINY bit but if this goes well we can attempt to interview Ghost. (Remember I said attempt *whispers* he’s not very cooperative)

Wow. Talk about Rambling. My goodness. NOW I promise you this time we will start to talk about Dance.

Dance is sixteen years old, has blonde hair and blue eyes, and only reaches the height of 5 foot 3 1/2 inches.

Being small doesn’t stop her from doing anything… It actually almost helps her get into more and more trouble. With her always curious, stubborn, and nosy personality she always seems to get into big trouble or creating a problem where one shouldn’t even exist (if only she would listen)

She may seem rather annoying and slightly bratty if you don’t know her but once you get to know her she can be really sweet and downright friendly…Though still as loud, crazy, adventurous and stubborn as ever (never a dull moment with her around)

Dance also says that living in New York City has made her a professional ‘Pepper Spray Weilder’
Actually, New York isn’t that bad buuuuuut Dance messes with the wrong people always likes to come prepared.

I would love to tell you more about her, but I’m afraid this is all I can say.
Now it’s up to you, My dear readers, to ask Dance your questions and once I get enough I will answer them in Part 2. Only you guys can make Part 2 possible and maybe meeting Ghost afterwards…

So, I look forward to your questions!

Until next time!

My NaNoWriMo Novel

SO I think it’s time to introduce you to My NaNo Novel because I am SUPER excited about it. To start off here is the synopsis of my AWESOME Novel (okay, well I think it’s awesome because it’s my novel of course XD )

Dance Woodsley is a girl carrying her mother’s dreams of being a ballet star, dreams which are not her own. One day she is thrown into a world that is not her own, and told she is their savior from a power-hungry psycopath, as the legends of that world foretold.

So My NaNo Novel is called: Pebbles and Pirouettes and so far I am a little over 18k words into it and 21 chapters. (So yes I’m a LITTLE ahead in NaNo but not by much) I’m absolutely enjoying writing it and I’m falling in love with my characters. Speaking of….. Here is my lovely characters (and Antagonist of course because you can’t forget the antagonist):

Also. On November 19th I am doing an interview with Caitlin Hensley so stay tuned for that 😉 I have a lot of posts lined up for December/January 2014 and possibly a few posts here and there throughout November. We shall see how that goes with my busy schedule and NaNo.

Until next time,
Adriana Gabrielle.
