Thus Begins A New Chapter

As one chapter comes to an end, another begins.

I feel like this last week has been me adulting like crazy.

I’ve been meeting with some of my best friends.

I’ve been setting up power and internet stuff.

I’ve been buying furniture and dishes.

I’ve been trying to change my cell phone plan to better fit this next step in life and SO much more.

Because I’m moving.

Away from home.

To a new job.

With a new apartment.

I will still be around and blogging so don’t worry about that 😉 but yeah. I’m moving. I’ve been living with my giant lovable family for 19 years so this is a weird experience for me as I’m also moving 6 hours away from my family. I’m gonna miss them like crazy but I’m thankful for technology so we can talk frequently and stay connected but I’m also so excited.

I’ll  be moving in with me bookworm, writer and nerdy fangirl bestie so that will make the transition a little easier so thats exciting. (Our tea and book collection combined will be envied by all for sure.) I’ll be moving to a new town and away from the nosy people I’ve had major run ins in town this summer. (#villagelife)

But by moving to a new town it means I’ll (once again saying it) be far from my really good friends, my family, and my church family. I know I will meet new people but I know that even when I do, they won’t ever replace the people I have met here.

The people who have impacted and changed my life.

It’s kinda what I’ve been dwelling on but I know that I’m not leaving forever and so my family and my friends who have become my family will see me again. With that I just want to say this:

No matter where you go, your family and friends will still be with you. Their love goes with you wherever you go. SO if you are called to go across the world then go. Or if you are called to move across town then go. If you are called to another town, city, or village, then GO.

Just do it.

Have fun. Enjoy life and know that as this new chapter in your life begins that the people you know and love go with you in your heart.

It’s Time for a Game of Tag || The Book Tag!

Hello Readers!

So, once again, wasn’t tagged but I am an impatient human being who doesn’t want to wait to see if I will be tagged for something so yeah….Here goes!

Book Tag

1. Do you have a specific place for reading?

Not really. I can and will read pretty much anywhere.

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?

Haha but seriously though. I don’t use bookmarks. I remember page or chapter numbers. I NEVER use bookmarks…They kind of annoy me actually…

3. Can you stop reading anywhere in a book or do you have to finish a chapter?

I CAN stop reading anywhere in a book if I absolutely have to but I prefer to just finish a chapter before stopping reading… But even then I don’t just stop reading unless I absolutely have to.

4. Do you eat or drink while reading?

Sure as heck do. I will usually curl up with a up of tea and read or read while eating dinner and stuff so yeah…Definitely can and do.

5. Music or TV while reading?

Yes to Music and No to TV. I get distracted by TV but not really music….I do also on occasion reply to text while reading but that usually ends in really delayed replies from me. (To My Friends: Sorry for my reading habits and forgetfulness to text you back! )

6. One book at a time or several?

Either one. Usually I go with one at a time because really it makes no difference since I can read a full novel in the span of a couple hours…

7. Reading at home or elsewhere?

Anywhere is fine by me. But reading at home is more preferred. A lot more comfortable that way…somehow.

8. Read out loud or silently?

If you want to hear sounds like I’m dying or choking on my own spit then ask me to read out loud…I dare you…..I do NOT read out loud unless forced to. Like DO NOT.

9. Do you read ahead or skip pages?

I sometimes to accidentally and hate myself for it! You know what I mean right? When you are reading and your eyes accidentally wander to the next page and you get read a huge spoiler or something?! Like GAH!

The frustration!!!

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

Break the spine?

Break the spine????

WHY DOES ANYONE BREAK THE SPINE?! THAT IS HORRIBLE! I would NEVER break the spine on a book. Never never never!

11. Do you write in your books?

No…No I do not.

I Tag:

YOU! If you are reading this, I tag you! I may or may not be lazy, but seriously. If you are reading this and want to do it, then I tag you.

So thats it! Until Next Time!
