It’s Time To Share The Love! (ARC Edition) || Perfect Timing by Robin Mellom

Hello Readers!

Today I am posting a review because I have been sick lately and have been finding it hard to get some ideas for posts. So a book review it is!

I’m going to review ‘Perfect Timing’ by Robin Mellom in which I received a review copy via NetGalley

Perfect timing

After a break-up with her boyfriend, Tori Wright decides to get her mind off the guy and takes a job running errands for an eccentric couple. Suddenly she finds herself involved in the crazy world of LA nightlife–nightclubs, palm readers, movie stars, and a roving pack of paparazzi. After a misunderstanding lands her in jail, she has one night to clear her name, help a movie starlet avoid the paparazzi, and find Adam…the coworker who is quickly stealing her heart.
As she makes decisions that can change the course of her life, Tori discovers just how far she’ll go to set the record straight.
But is she too late?
Perfect Timing is a charming romantic comedy that will have you wondering if true love can be found at the wrong time.

I really enjoyed this book! It was an enjoyable read that I ate up in one sitting. I liked how it was clean romance rather than the usual, inappropriate romance in many YA novels these days.

I loved the whole plot of the story and how the two characters came together. (Though I can’t say much for the sake of spoilers)

I ADORED the characters. Each one of them was their own character. Never once did I see any of the characters that were alike or get them confused. I loved the narration from Tori’s point of view. Her sassy personality and narration was quite enjoyable.

I found Tori really relatable as well. All her knowledge about relationships but yet being in very few were something I can relate to. (Only I’ve been in no relationships ever) I am often giving my friends advice when they need it…. But I haven’t read dating books or have a mother who runs a blog all about recovering from divorce.

Although I enjoyed the book and the plot itself, I felt like other relationships could have been shown a little better. There are two that really come to mind in terms of the relationship. Shannon and Tori (The main character of the story) were really close friends in the story, but I felt like it could have been shown a little more rather than told. The same goes for the characters relationship with her mother. Now in the story her mother works night shifts and is home when Tori is at school but I feel like there could have been a couple moments where we saw that relationship between mother and daughter rather than being told it through the characters narration and thoughts, though I still liked how it played out, I just would have preferred to see it a little more for myself.

Overall this novel was a great, fun, and enjoyable read that I absolutely adored!

My rating for this novel is 4 stars
