My Own Linkup! || Antagonists!

Hello Readers!

Guess what? I finally did a linkup of my own! Well, two… anyways. I am going to do them in two different posts so as not to overwhelm you. Now, Rachel Day ( @ Stained Glass Windows) and I have worked together to do these two link-ups for our readers and I am so happy to be sharing these with you!

So, I will give you the questions and also be answering the questions as well. Here is the first one on antagonists!

~Answer the Questions! Wooh! Simple as that 🙂

The Questions!
1. Is the antagonist a person or a concept?

2. Now give us your villains description! What do they look like? What do they wear? Scars, tattoos or birthmarks? (etc.)

3. Does your antagonist have a special trademark item? (Ex. President Snow’s white rose)

4. What is A theme song you have for your antagonist? Does it tell their story? Or is it just some epic song?

Now that that is done, lets dig deeper here!
5.Is there a tragedy that has stuck with your antagonist through their life? What is it?

6.What is it that is deceptive about your antagonist? What tricks people into believing they are good?

7.What is the main motivation for the antagonists actions? are their morals just mixed up? for the protection of someone? revenge? (etc etc)

8.Does your antagonist see themselves as a hero or do they know they are a villain/antag? Do they want to be the ‘Bad Guy’?

9.Has your antagonist got any criminal records? Or had s/he broken any laws?

10. Now,last but not least (because we love to embarrass our characters), What is your antagonist deepest secret that (if found out) would embarrass them greatly?

Now it’s my turn!

My antagonist may look familiar to you if you saw my most recent Protagonist link up (because yes, she is both antagonist and protagonist) so you may be pleasantly surprised yet you may not. Anyways, here is my lovely character ‘Caspia’ once more.

Strawberry-Blonde-hair

1. Is the antagonist a person or a concept?

Well, as you can see. She is a person…well Siren/Person but you get my point.

2. Now give us your villains description! What do they look like? What do they wear? Scars, tattoos or birthmarks? (etc.)

Okay, so she’s got strawberry blonde hair and big brown eyes so that normal, but what I mean is her skin color. Underwater, as a siren her skin is so pale it’s almost a tinted or glowing green color and her skin stays like that on land as well. She is strangely pale and all her veins visible making everyone who sees her think she is deathly sick or something…She also has a large scar on her foot which, in siren form, is a tear in her fin.

3. Does your antagonist have a special trademark item? (Ex. President Snow’s white rose)

As far as I know, no trademark item exists. 😉

4. What is A theme song you have for your antagonist? Does it tell their story? Or is it just some epic song?

Now, this isn’t a theme song but this is basically what my lovely characters does…she drowns people. So what better fitting scene/song than from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie?

Now that that is done, lets dig deeper here!
5.Is there a tragedy that has stuck with your antagonist through their life? What is it?

The slaughter of her friends and family is definitely something that has stuck with her since she was a wee little siren….That would stick with me forever too so I don’t really blame her.

6.What is it that is deceptive about your antagonist? What tricks people into believing they are good?

Well, as a siren she doesn’t care but I would say as a human she is deceptively kind and helpful when the need arises and she is very far from kind indeed.

7.What is the main motivation for the antagonists actions? are their morals just mixed up? for the protection of someone? revenge? (etc etc)

Her case is most definitely that of revenge. While on land she takes to drowning innocent humans swimming in the ocean or even at the local pools as well. Anything to get back at the humans for the slaughter of her people.

8.Does your antagonist see themselves as a hero or do they know they are a villain/antag? Do they want to be the ‘Bad Guy’?

Oh, she very much knows it and is very proud of being the one to bring the humans pain. Yet still, she also wants to be happy and wants a family again so many times she is fighting herself.

9.Has your antagonist got any criminal records? Or had s/he broken any laws?

Well….does drowning people count? I mean it’s killing people though she is luring them using her voice so she is never seen doing it…

10. Now,last but not least (because we love to embarrass our characters), What is your antagonist deepest secret that (if found out) would embarrass them greatly?

Oh boy…Well as a young child she once became angry with her sister and tried to use her voice to drown her sister (Sirens don’t have much patience) but…they are both sirens so she didn’t get very far. She is quite embarrassed of that despite her being a young merchild of about seven or eight.

So, that is a deeper look into my lovely Protagonist/Antagonist for my upcoming Camp NaNo Novel. If you love the linkup I would love it if you joined in! Share the link to your post in the comments and I will most definitely check it out!

Until Next Time!
